Cost-effective single station OptiMate desulphating charger for service workshops requiring an OptiMate with more power & performance & test information than the smaller OptiMates intended for private users.
The OptiMate PRO-S is also suitable for long term storage & desulphation of automotive & marine batteries of up to 100Ah.
• Select 1A /2A /4A constant current charge for optimal & rapid charging of all motorcycle & similar batteries.
• Within the first 10 minutes the circuit automatically identifies batteries with significant short‑circuited cell damage, indicates the condition (red LED) & stops charging.
• The automatic desulphation mode (whose effectiveness has been proven over 12 years in our various other OptiMate models), recovers neglected or severely dis charged batteries measuring at least 1V which are still in principle mechanically sound.
• The automatic self‑discharge test (performed automati cally after the circuit has verified that the battery has been as well charged as possible), provides 4 possible judgments so as to provide accurate information as to the state of health of standard filler cap, MF‑AGM & MF‑GEL starter batteries.
